Information Security Analyst
As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive data and ensuring that security systems are functioning properly. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as the ability to analyze and assess potential security risks. You will collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement security measures and respond to any security incidents that may occur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures
- Conduct internal audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network activity for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in information security
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement secure systems
- Provide training to employees on information security awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security analysis or a related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, encryption methods, and other security technologies
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, intrusion detection systems, and other security software
- Ability to think critically and analyze complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
