Locksmith Technician


We are a reputable security company in Almada seeking a skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems for our clients. This is an urgent job opening and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair mechanical or electronic locks, including padlocks, deadbolts, and keyless entry systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing locks and security systems.
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines.
- Install and program electronic access control systems.
- Provide lockout services for clients who have lost or forgotten their keys.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company protocols.
- Keep accurate records of all services provided.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of different types of locks and security systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and key-cutting machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is based in Almada but may require travel to various locations within the city. Therefore, we prefer candidates who live in or near Almada.

Contract Job:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
