Architectural Technologist


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Lisbon. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design, development, and construction of various architectural projects. Your expertise in building codes and regulations, as well as your proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop design concepts and construction plans
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project development
- Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Research new materials, technologies, and construction methods to incorporate into designs
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and analyze project specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts
- Provide support during the construction phase by responding to requests for information (RFIs) from contractors
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to design plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software programs
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with accommodation. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible for employment authorization in Portugal. We welcome candidates of all genders.
