Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Shan, Africa. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating excavators and must possess a valid operator's license. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own visa and be able to work legally in Africa. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, or other excavations as needed
- Load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket or attachments
- Move earth or other materials to designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and report any malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities
- Keep track of fuel usage and report any issues or discrepancies
- Complete daily logs and reports as required

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid operator's license for excavators
- At least 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction or similar setting
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Must have own visa and legal ability to work in Africa
