Skilled Carpenter

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Eschen. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your main duties will include reading blueprints and technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling and installing various components.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and install wooden structures and fixtures such as partitions, frames, doors, windows, cabinets, etc.
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding, etc.
- Inspect existing structures for damage or defects
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, etc.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum of 2 years)
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools (drills)
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical strength to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills in English (Nepali language skills are a plus)
- Willingness to work in Eschen with accommodation provided (visa sponsorship is available if needed)

Salary: $1100 per month
