Architectural Technologist

The position of Architectural Technologist involves the use of technical skills and knowledge to support the design and construction of buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications for various architectural projects. They should also possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients. This is a full-time job based in Washington, with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to create accurate 2D and 3D models
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and standards
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and incorporate changes into designs
- Conduct site visits to gather information and provide technical support during construction
- Review contractor submissions for accuracy and adherence to design plans
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in architectural technology and techniques
- Work within project budgets and deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other related software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects
- Understanding of sustainable design principles
