Typesetter

A typesetter is responsible for creating and arranging text and images for print or digital publications. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a good eye for design. The ideal candidate will have experience with typography, layout, and graphic design software. As a typesetter, you will work closely with editors, writers, and designers to ensure that the final product is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Set type using computerized systems or traditional methods
- Arrange text and images in a visually pleasing way
- Ensure consistency in font, spacing, and alignment
- Collaborate with editors and designers to make necessary adjustments
- Proofread final layouts for errors or inconsistencies
- Prepare files for printing or digital publishing

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in typography and layout principles
- Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines

Location: Funchal, Portugal (open to all nationalities)
Salary: $1500/month (based on experience)
