Concrete Worker

A well-established construction company is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Concrete Worker to join our team in Alta, Norway. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of $1200 per month. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with concrete and has a willingness to learn. This position is open to candidates without experience, as on-the-job training will be provided. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.

As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete structures such as foundations, walls, and floors. You will also be involved in repairing and maintaining existing concrete structures. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
- Mix concrete according to specifications
- Pour and spread concrete evenly using various tools
- Use hand or power tools to finish surfaces by smoothing or texturing
- Install reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
- Repair damaged or cracked concrete structures
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
