Information Security Analyst


We are currently hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Shan, Nepal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and threats
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and take necessary actions
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are implemented throughout the organization
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Shan, Nepal

Preferred Nationality: Nepali
