Location: Alta, Norway



As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery on construction sites. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and cranes. You will work closely with construction teams to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or defects
- Follow instructions from construction managers to complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator, preferably in the construction industry
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform duties in a demanding outdoor environment
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)

Salary: 1300$ per month (part-time position)
