Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef at our upscale restaurant in Moscow, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team of skilled chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and maintain menu offerings, ensuring variety and high-quality dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist in ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling costs to meet budget goals
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in taste and appearance
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new dishes or improve existing ones based on customer feedback
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Proficiency in English is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Filipino cuisine is an advantage but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
