Junior Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect our company's data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats
- Monitor network activity and implement necessary controls to prevent unauthorized access
- Assist in creating and implementing security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are applied throughout the system development lifecycle
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Basic understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc. is a plus
