Mason - Construction Worker


We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Al Buraymi. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, stone, and concrete. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, mixing mortar, and laying bricks or stones according to blueprints or design plans.

To excel in this role, you should have previous experience working as a Mason and possess excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently are also important qualities for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials to specific sizes using tools such as saws, chisels, and drills
- Mix mortar or grout according to specified ratios
- Lay bricks or stones in a pattern according to blueprints or design plans
- Smooth mortar joints using trowels or other tools
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, stones, or other materials
- Apply sealants or caulking around windows, doors, or other openings
- Collaborate with other construction workers on projects as needed
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Mason preferred
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic English language skills

Salary: 1200$ per month
