We are currently hiring a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Sheduva. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different types of metal, such as steel, aluminum, and copper, and will be able to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role. This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month and visa sponsorship may be provided for qualified candidates. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with team members. Only Kenyan applicants will be considered.

As a Metal Worker, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Cutting, shaping, and fitting metal components using various tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and shears
- Welding or brazing metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools used in the fabrication process
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete projects within specified deadlines

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Experience with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Ability to use hand-held tools such as saws, drills, grinders, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Valid work permit for Sheduva, if not a Kenyan national
