We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Akron, OH. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to assist with construction projects.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating equipment
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or concerns
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per week. Additional benefits may be offered including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, etc.
Location:
Our company is located in Akron, OH. We strongly encourage candidates who reside in or near the city to apply. However, we are open to candidates from other cities within reasonable commuting distance.
