Radio Technician


We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication systems. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, conducting regular equipment checks, and ensuring all systems are functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and knowledge of radio frequency technology. A strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio communication systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions
- Ensure all systems meet industry standards and regulations
- Perform regular equipment checks to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Train new technicians on proper procedures and protocols
- Stay updated on advancements in radio frequency technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio frequency technology and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina for working with heavy equipment in various weather conditions

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or in a related field
