Mason - Construction Worker


We are in need of skilled and experienced Masons to work on various construction projects in Mombasa. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building structures such as walls, floors, and foundations using materials like bricks, concrete blocks, and stones. Your work will play a crucial role in the overall construction process and the quality of the final product.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and specifications of structures
- Prepare building materials by cutting, shaping, and mixing them according to instructions
- Lay out patterns or foundations using tools such as levels, squares, or plumb bobs
- Use specialized tools like trowels, hammers, or chisels to construct walls, floors or other structures
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb lines or levels
- Check completed work for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
- Repair or replace damaged brickwork or other materials as needed

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Good knowledge of different building materials and their properties
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Experience working with different types of tools used in masonry work
- Excellent time management skills
