Mason - Construction Worker


We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Malindi. This is a full-time position that offers competitive salary of 1100$. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and patios using various materials including bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. Indian nationals with experience in masonry and a valid biometric passport are preferred for this role. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan masonry work
- Measure and mark layouts according to specifications
- Mix mortar and other construction materials according to ratios
- Lay bricks, stones or concrete blocks in horizontal layers using various techniques
- Use tools such as trowels, hammers, levels and chisels to shape and trim materials
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, stones or other masonry units
- Clean surfaces to prepare them for masonry work
- Install firebricks or heat-resistant lining in industrial furnaces
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mason or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Experience working with various tools used in masonry work
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid biometric passport

Working Conditions:
As a Mason, you will be working outdoors in various weather conditions. The job may also involve heavy lifting and bending. You will be required to wear protective gear such as hard hats and safety boots while on site.
