Facade Technician

A facade technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing exterior building facades. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the safety and functionality of the building's exterior.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair various types of building facades, including glass, metal panels, precast concrete, and stone
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to identify any potential issues or necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with existing facades
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors on new construction projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Use specialized equipment and tools for facade installation and repair

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade installation or related field
- Strong knowledge of different types of facades and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving skills in order to identify issues with existing facades
- Physical stamina to work at heights using scaffolding or lifts as needed
- Attention to detail to ensure precise installation of facades
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Salary: $1800 per month

City: Shan, Kenya (Preference for local candidates)

This is a full-time position. Own visa sponsorship is required for non-Kenyan candidates.
