Event Moderator
We are in need of a dynamic and confident Event Moderator to join our team in Lisbon. As an Event Moderator, you will be responsible for hosting and facilitating events and discussions, ensuring a smooth flow of the program and engaging the audience. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$, without accommodation.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to think on your feet and handle any unexpected situations that may arise during events. As an Event Moderator, you must have experience in public speaking and be comfortable interacting with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare for events by researching topics, creating agendas, and coordinating with speakers
- Host events by introducing speakers, keeping track of time, moderating discussions, and managing Q&A sessions
- Engage with the audience to ensure their participation through polls, surveys or other interactive activities
- Handle any technical or logistical issues that may arise during events
- Collaborate with event planners to ensure the overall success of the event
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Event Moderator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and handle unexpected situations
- Experience in public speaking or hosting events is preferred
