DevOps Developer - Funchal, Portugal

As a DevOps Developer in our growing company, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, and ensuring smooth delivery and deployment of our applications. You will work closely with our development team to understand the needs and requirements of each project, and implement efficient processes and tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Your role will also involve monitoring and maintaining our systems to ensure optimal performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development team to understand project requirements
- Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Monitor systems for performance issues and troubleshoot as necessary
- Continuously improve processes for increased efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in DevOps or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Proficient in Linux operating system
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
