Event Moderator
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Event Moderator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As an Event Moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of events and conferences by facilitating discussions, managing speakers, and engaging with the audience. Your role will also involve coordinating with event organizers and vendors to ensure all technical aspects are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discussions and Q&A sessions during events
- Introduce speakers and manage their time during presentations
- Engage with the audience to encourage participation and interaction
- Coordinate with event organizers to ensure all technical requirements are met
- Oversee the setup and testing of audio/visual equipment
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during events
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, representing our company in a positive light
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Event Moderator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations quickly
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate with multiple parties involved in events
- Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and troubleshooting techniques is preferred but not required
Salary: 1200$ per month (with accommodation provided)
Location: Braga, Portugal (own visa required)
