Unity Developer - Contract Position (Bergen, Norway)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Unity Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality games and applications for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging and immersive games and applications using Unity
- Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code in C# while adhering to best practices
- Implement game mechanics, UI/UX systems, AI behaviors, and other features as needed
- Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay experience on different devices
- Troubleshoot and debug code issues to ensure high-quality output
- Stay updated with the latest Unity features and technologies to continuously improve game development processes
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Unity Developer or similar role
- Proficient in C# programming language with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles
- Experience developing games or applications using Unity for mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with 3D graphics and physics in Unity engine
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bonus Skills:

- Experience developing multiplayer games using Photon or similar networking solutions
- Familiarity with backend integration for online features such as leaderboards, achievements, etc.
- Knowledge of shader programming in Unity

Salary: 1300$ (USD) per week (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bergen, Norway
