As a Computer Research Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our company’s research and development efforts in the field of computer science. You will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to develop innovative solutions and technologies to advance our company’s products and services. This is a part-time position, with flexible working hours, based in Alta, Norway.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on various topics related to computer science, including algorithms, data structures, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more.
- Analyze data sets and identify patterns and trends to develop new algorithms and improve existing ones.
- Collaborate with other team members to design experiments and perform simulations to test theories.
- Write detailed reports on research findings and present them to the team.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of computer science through attending conferences, workshops, and reading relevant publications.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or others.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as R or MATLAB.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Skills:
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working on research projects or publications in the field of computer science.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this part-time position. Additional benefits may be provided based on performance.

Location:
This job is based in Alta, Norway. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
