Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the software, as well as design and execute test cases to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining testing documentation and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as experience with automated testing tools. This is a full-time position based in Alta, Norway with a salary of $1500 per month. This job does not include accommodation and candidates must have their own valid work visa for Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the software
- Design and execute test cases to ensure proper functionality of software products
- Create and maintain testing documentation and reports
- Use automated testing tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Continuously improve quality assurance processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB certification (Foundation level)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Attention to detail
