Assistant Librarian
The Assistant Librarian will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our library in La-Condamine. This part-time position is ideal for students looking to gain experience in a library setting. The candidate must have a strong passion for books and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with circulation desk duties, including checking in and out books, shelving, and processing new materials
- Provide excellent customer service to library patrons by answering questions and assisting with research needs
- Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library shelves and other areas
- Participate in collection development by evaluating new materials and making recommendations
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for books and knowledge of different genres preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
