Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, pastries, and breads for our restaurant. Your passion for baking and attention to detail will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries and desserts with artistic flair
- Ensure timely production of all baked goods to meet customer demands
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and equipment, placing orders when necessary
- Train junior pastry cooks on techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety procedures
- Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan menus and create new dessert offerings
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a reputable establishment
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Creativity and artistic skills for decorating pastries and desserts
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely production of baked goods
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff effectively
Salary: 1200$
City: Copenhagen (Preference for Danish or EU nationality)
