Online Tutor

As an Online Tutor, you will be responsible for providing virtual academic support to students in a specific subject or subjects. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability to effectively connect with students and help them understand difficult concepts. You will create lesson plans, provide one-on-one instruction, and offer feedback and assessment on student progress. This is a contract job that can be done remotely from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a stable internet connection. Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones. This is an urgent position that requires candidates who can start immediately and commit to a set number of hours per week. Salary: $1200 per month

City: Herning (remote work)

Country: Denmark (open to candidates from any country)

Job Requirements:

- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant subject area
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong understanding of the subject matter
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and adaptability when working with students of different levels and learning styles
- Reliable internet connection and suitable equipment for online tutoring (e.g. webcam, microphone)
- Available to work at least 10 hours per week on a set schedule

Responsibilities:

- Create lesson plans based on student's needs and curriculum requirements
- Provide one-on-one instruction through virtual platforms
- Engage students in interactive learning activities to enhance understanding of concepts
- Offer feedback and assessment on student progress
- Communicate regularly with students' parents or guardians if necessary
- Keep track of student attendance and participation in lessons
- Collaborate with other tutors or teachers as needed
