Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience with various security tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate any incidents
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the organization's overall security posture
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Work with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security policies and procedures
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or breaches
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Train employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, encryption techniques, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify potential vulnerabilities or threats.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Salary: 1800$ per month (with accommodation)
