Job Title: Data Mining Specialist
We are a data analysis company based in Faroe-Islands and we are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends that will help inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various data mining techniques and tools to extract information from large datasets
- Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Analyze and interpret data to identify key insights and trends
- Develop and implement data mining models, algorithms, and visualizations
- Communicate findings to team members, clients, or stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in data mining
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to handle large datasets with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information
- Proven track record of problem-solving and decision-making based on data-driven insights
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month. We also offer free visa sponsorship and travel tickets for all candidates. The contract duration can vary depending on the project but typically ranges from 3 months to 1 year.
