Locksmith Technician


A reputable locksmith company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled and experienced Locksmith Technician to join our team. As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month, without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is also available for international candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair mechanical and electronic locking systems
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning locks
- Conduct security assessments and recommend solutions to enhance security measures
- Install and maintain access control systems, such as keyless entry systems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used
- Provide emergency locksmith services, including lockouts and rekeying services
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a locksmith technician
- Knowledge of various types of locks, keys, tools, and techniques used in locksmithing
- Experience with electronic locking systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be physically fit to perform duties such as bending, kneeling, lifting heavy objects, etc.
