Typesetter
We are a publishing company based in Aarhus, seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and a strong eye for detail. As a Typesetter, you will work closely with our editorial team to format and design various print and digital publications. This is a contract position with accommodation provided. We welcome applications from all genders, but this role may be more suitable for men due to the physical demands of the job. Salary for this position starts at 1200$ per month. Responsibilities:
- Format and design print and digital publications according to company guidelines
- Collaborate with editorial team to ensure accuracy of text, images, and layout
- Make necessary adjustments or corrections to meet deadlines
- Ensure consistency in formatting across all publications
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter in a publishing environment
- Strong knowledge of typography principles and design software (InDesign, QuarkXPress)
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines

Preferred:
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience with HTML/CSS coding for digital publications

Location:
This position is located in Aarhus, Denmark. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
