Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef at our restaurant in Kolding, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards and uphold food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and developing new dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and food preparation techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Oversee food presentation and ensure that all dishes meet quality standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and address any customer concerns or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following proper sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and proper cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique dishes using local ingredients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month, based on experience.
