Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Utena. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, grade and move earth and other materials according to project specifications. You must have a valid operator's license and at least 2 years of experience operating excavators. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator equipment to perform various tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and moving materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate excavation work
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage
- Adhere to all safety regulations on construction sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of excavation tasks
- Keep track of materials used and record daily production reports
- Work efficiently within project timelines and meet deadlines

Requirements:
- Valid operator's license for excavator equipment
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of safety regulations on construction sites

Preferred:
- Previous experience working on construction sites in Utena or surrounding areas
- Experience working with different types of excavator equipment
- Ability to speak English
