Office Assistant
We have an immediate opening for an organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Bayan, Kuwait. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support to various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members
- Keep track of invoices, expenses, and other financial records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, billing, and payments
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is preferred
We offer competitive salary of 1000$ per month along with benefits package. This is a full-time position from 8am to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday. We welcome candidates who hold their own visa or have valid work permits for Kuwait.
