Office Assistant
We are looking for a competent and friendly Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Maintain contact lists
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Book travel arrangements
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Provide general support to visitors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative assistant or Secretary are a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g. printers)
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Salary: 1700$ per month.
Location: Sharjah. This position is open for Egyptian or Canadian Nationals who are currently residing in Sharjah with their own visa. English language proficiency is not required for this position. Fresh graduates without experience are welcome to apply.
