Typesetter

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Utena. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for various print and digital publications. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and excellent knowledge of typesetting software.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Use typesetting software to create layouts for print and digital publications
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Proofread and correct any errors in grammar, spelling, or layout
- Maintain consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the publication
- Ensure that all text is properly aligned and visually appealing
- Meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality work
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Typesetter or similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or LaTeX
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for design
- Good understanding of typography principles
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn new software and stay updated on industry trends

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation. Visa sponsorship may also be provided for qualified candidates.
