Architectural Technologist
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and construction of buildings and structures. This role requires a deep understanding of architecture principles and techniques, as well as excellent technical skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the field and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop building designs
- Prepare detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to gather information for design development
- Research building codes, regulations, and standards
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and estimates
- Ensure that designs meet all safety, accessibility, and environmental regulations
- Work closely with contractors during the construction phase to resolve any design-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong technical skills with knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and structural principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position. Accommodation will also be provided for non-local employees.
