Handyman

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and construction in the city of Al Ahmadi. They will be expected to have a wide range of skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general handyman tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess strong problem-solving abilities. This is a physically demanding job that may require lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. A biometric passport is preferred but not required for this position. Fluency in English is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing appliances, changing light bulbs, and fixing leaky faucets
- Conduct repairs for minor issues such as broken locks or hinges
- Install new fixtures or equipment as needed
- Handle basic electrical work such as changing outlets or light switches
- Paint walls and perform other small touch-ups as needed
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all necessary tools and supplies are available
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide satisfactory solutions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on their feet
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English preferred
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that may require working on weekends or after-hours for emergency repairs. The Handyman will be expected to travel within the city of Al Ahmadi to various job sites. They will also need to work in various weather conditions and may have to lift heavy objects.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1400$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
