Preservation Architect
Our architecture firm in Odense is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural history, building materials, and construction techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures, identifying any damage or deterioration
- Develop preservation plans that address structural issues while preserving the historical integrity of the building
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work, including photos, drawings, and reports
- Ensure all preservation work meets local building codes and regulations
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, building materials, and construction techniques
- Experience working with historical buildings and structures
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
Salary: 1300$ per month
Location: Odense
