Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Horsens. Your main role will be to assess the condition of these buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee the implementation of restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Collaborating with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and conservationists to develop effective preservation plans
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications for restoration projects
- Overseeing the implementation of restoration projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and preservation guidelines
- Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that may arise
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations for the preservation of their property
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and historical styles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
