Excavator Operator
Location: Horsens, Denmark



As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform various excavation and construction tasks. Your main duty will be to manipulate the controls of the excavator to dig and move earth, rocks, and other materials as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Conduct pre-start checks on equipment and report any issues or damages
- Dig trenches, foundations, or other areas as directed by the project plan
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles as needed
- Operate attachments such as hydraulic hammers or buckets in a precise manner
- Maintain a clean worksite by removing debris and waste material
- Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions and report them immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy machinery is a plus
