Entry-Level Typesetter


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Entry-Level Typesetter to join our publishing team in Moscow. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and layout design of various texts, including books, magazines, and newspapers. This is an ideal position for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for typography. This is a contract position with the opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Format and layout text according to established style guidelines
- Proofread text for errors in spelling, grammar, and typography
- Work closely with editors and designers to ensure consistency in style and design
- Use software such as Adobe InDesign to create layouts
- Collaborate with printers to ensure proper printing of materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Strong knowledge of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Experience or knowledge of publishing industry preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (Russian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary is 1800$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract position based in Moscow. Remote work may be possible depending on the candidate's location.

Note:
This position is open to all nationalities but candidates must have their own visa or be willing to obtain one independently. English speaking candidates are preferred.
