Junior Information Security Analyst


We are a growing company in Umm-Salal seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring the security of our network and systems. Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity and security events to identify potential threats
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- 1+ years of experience in information security or related role
- Knowledge of common network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SMTP
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk or ArcSight
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Experience working in a SOC environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position. In addition to salary, we also provide accommodation for our employees.
