Entry-Level Construction Manager
We are hiring an entry-level Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in the city of Almada. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with our engineers and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone without prior experience in construction management to gain valuable hands-on experience and grow their career in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects
- Monitor project progress and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and identify any potential issues or delays
- Assist with budget management by tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical problems or design changes as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in Construction Management preferred)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
