DevOps Developer

We are hiring a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of code changes. Your role will involve working closely with software development teams to automate processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Implement and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the health and performance of our software infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features into our existing infrastructure
- Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet to manage software configurations
- Troubleshoot issues with deployments, identify root causes, and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps to continually improve our processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
