Looking for a Librarian to join the team at a busy library in Dubai!

We are offering a competitive salary of 1600 for the right candidate. We welcome immigrants for this role and expect minimal work experience - though a background in librarianship is preferred.

The major duties of the position involve checking in and checking out materials; registering library users; helping patrons search for library materials by finding information in both manual and digital systems; cataloging library materials; maintaining records; organizing library resources; and helping patrons with basic computer-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and an exceptional knowledge of library materials and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills, pleasant customer service manner, and working knowledge of computers and other technologies are all highly desired.
