Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing survey data

• Identifying potential problems

• Planning strategies to take measurements on land and property

• Creating diagrams and charts to present survey results

• Utilizing GIS mapping techniques

• Participating in land development or planning activities

• Educating the public on land surveying techniques

• Preparing areas and spaces for new construction

• Developing construction blueprints

• Monitoring and reviewing survey projects
