The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of land surveys, demonstrated fieldwork experience, and proficiency with the applicable software. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform land surveys to establish official boundaries and to gather data used in construction plans
• Prepare and maintain sketch plans, maps, records, and documents
• Interpret and analyze survey results
• Utilize geodetic, leveling, laser, and Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment
• Take necessary measurements of areas being surveyed
• Ensure accuracy of survey results
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and safety precautions for survey projects
• Maintain equipment used in land surveys as required
