Position: Librarian

Job Description:
The librarian is responsible for managing and maintaining the library of the organization. This person will manage the daily operations involved with running the library and providing research assistance. The librarian will also evaluate new acquisitions and materials, handle inventory control and equipment maintenance, and provide access to online resources to achieve a successful user experience.

Needs for the Candidate:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. The librarian should also have a good understanding of library operations, as well as the ability to effectively supervise and manage library staff. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential for the role, as well as a keen interest in staying up to date with technology and advancements in library services. Some prior experience in the library field is beneficial. Candidates should be fluent in English, as well as have strong computer skills.
